Chabot Gun Club, Inc. presently has 8 (eight) ranges for rental to governmental agencies, private organizations, clubs and groups. Distances vary from point blank range to 200 meters. Classrooms are also available. Each range may be rented by the day or half-day. Gates open at 0800 hours, shooting exercises may be conducted from 0900 to 1700 hours and gates close at 1800 hours. Although rental space is generally available seven (7) days per week, governmental and security agencies are advised that Chabot Gun Club is not open to the general public on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, thus facilitating the privacy often needed for specialized training. Since the Club is located in the wooded hills between Castro Valley and Oakland, the locale is conducive to most forms of physical activity, from basic calisthenics to helicopter insertion techniques. 

Rates per range for organizations that restrict participation to their own personnel are  $200 per day or  $100 per half-day. Rates per range for training organizations that permit participation by qualified clientele of Chabot Gun Club are  $100 per day or any part of the day. Prior approval by Chabot's management is required for any special rate and are approved on a case by case basis. We also reserve the right to refuse rental or service to anyone. If five (5) or more days are scheduled in a calendar year, a ten (10) percent discount is offered. Other rates are available for weekly or other rentals. A multi-purpose room, suitable for 50 persons is available for  $50 with the rental of a shooting range. A smaller classroom, accommodating 25 persons is available for $25 with a range rental. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, the common areas are available for non-firing training provided that such activities do not interfere with the maintenance staff, other range users nor pose any safety hazards. 

Prerequisites for scheduling range time and requirements for on-site conduct are listed on the form "Policy on Range Rentals". Applications will be reviewed by Chabot Gun Club management to insure that proposed rentals conform to the overall mission of the Club and do not interfere with existing Club responsibilities, legal requirement and/or Club activities.

Failure to abide by Chabot Gun Club, Inc. or East Bay Regional Park District policies may result in suspension of range access. We reserve the right to refuse rental or service to anyone.

By signing this rental form, the undersigned applicant / user warrants that he/she has received a copy of Chabot Gun Club, Inc’s. "Policy on Range Rentals", that he/she has read and understood the content thereof and that he/she will comply with all requirements and conditions of same and will cause all personnel addressed under this agreement to abide with all of the rules, policies and instructions of Chabot Gun Club, Inc.
