SOME  BASIC  RULES  FOR  THE  PUBLIC  RIFLE  &  PISTOL  LINES

In order to insure that you have a pleasant experience at our very safety conscious facility please read and understand the following. 

You will be called out on the loudspeaker for: 

1.  Pointing an exposed muzzle anywhere but straight up when moving around or down-range
   
  (towards the targets) when at the shooting line.
 

2.  Carrying a firearm uncased with the action closed or with a magazine inserted.

3.  Uncasing or casing a firearm in any area other than the shooting benches.
   
   (Not the tables behind!)
 

4.  Using a multiple firearm case and not pointing the muzzle of the firearm you are
      handling downrange.

5.  Not having eye protection over your eyes and ear protection on your ears
     when in front of the red safety line.

6.  Crossing the red line during a cease fire, before hearing, “Move out, please”.

7.  Stopping at, or touching anything on or near, a shooting bench during a target
   
   change (cease fire) period.

8.  Smoking at the line area.

9.  Carrying a camera or taking pictures without permission of the range office.

10.  Firing more than one shot per second.

11.  Posting a non-approved target (especially any humanoid type).

12.  Posting any target outside the paper target area of the target backers.

13.  Hitting any wood.
